Medical Micropigmentation/ Permanent Make-up
If you suffer from essential tremor, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, rheumatoid arthritis,hemiparesis due to a stroke, you may have difficulty applying make-up. Medical Micropigmentation is an option for individuals with chronic conditions that interfere with make-up application. The procedure is known as "permanent make-up."
Our evaluation of clients who desire micropigmentation is quite comprehensive. We are very conservative in our design and application techniques. The procedure requires time to determine if the pigment colors are suitable for an everyday look and if the client is happy with the design. Our initial consultation fee is $80. This includes patch testing. The consultation fee is non-refundable but can be deducted from the cost of the procedure or used toward other services/products.
At Spa Doc, we prefer to use the manual method of permanent make-up application. We use sterile 100% disposable hand tools for hygiene and safety. No pigments are ever saved to be reused on a different client. We trust SofTap(R) Permanent Cosmetics to supply our hand tools and pigments. Their pigments are hypollergenic and MRI safe. Traditional Cosmetics
A cosmetic consultation can be arranged to help you select cosmetics that are suitable for your skin tone. Your Spa Doc can assist you with this or an experienced make-up artist. The cost of consultation with Dr. Eloi-Stiven is $80 that later be applied to your cosmetic purchase. Our make-up artist will determine the price for make-up selection and application, if you choose to utilize a make-up artist.
